JohnP Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Notice the soft pink glow . Should of had my limit on gaddies but I must of grabbed the saw dust rounds of shells because I had trouble convincing most anything I shot to stop, drop, and die. Did manage to dropped 3 early and while chasing down 2 cripples with the dog had a dang eagle swoop down and steal the one that did drop dead for an easy meal. Pretty cool to watch with in a 100 yards of me none the less. Pretty slow morning considering I thought I'd see more flying around with this cold front. Seen maybe 2 dozen gaddies and think some of those were just the same half dozen or so flying back and forth up and down the creek. Also a group of 4 hooded mergansers give me a fly by before I could get a shot off.

jdmidwest Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 I have a few charms like that I have picked up at yard sales and flea markets. I have a heron, seagull, and a big ceramic kingfisher that used to watch over the blind. I used to toss a single goose floater in the spread to break it up.
