Hey I'm happy to share good food.

I'm working on a gumbo recipe too. I posted it here last year but I'm tweaking it a but. Crock pot gumbo with seafood. Everyone that's tried it so far likes it. But it needs a little something heavier in the broth.

Demi-glace. Killer for any kind of soup/liquid-based food. Takes a while to make, but it is really worth the effort. I mean really worth it.

Over thanksgiving we were in Louisiana and brought back a bunch of the local boudin and Andouille. Made this gumbo recipe and it was outstanding. Oh yea Florida. I've been a couple of times. Not in the last 4 years though. I plan on going this summer with the wife and kids. We're going to Orlando though, for the kids, hopefully I can sneak off on a charter boat for a morning . But yes it's definitly something I'd eat too. I love sea food... All types.( even the raw variety). I'll try ur recipe in the next day or so. Thank u J-doc

My cousins own the Highland Park Fish Camp in DeLand, FL. It's about an hour from Orlando. Bass fishing on St. Johns (Dead Norris / Woodruff / Glenwood) is a lot of fun! I'll dig up the bug girl from last summer and put on here iin a bit

Eehh. Sorry. Still figuring out this whole forum thing. I meant to quote the above and add to it.... I was trying to say that, I just checked it out. They do have rv camping. I may stay there a few days if theyre not booked up.
