J-Doc Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 That would be neat if they would fish Beaver, but my guess is they will be somewhere south or central. Yes it would but not likely as you said. And, it a massive body of water. They tend to pick smaller waters so the competition is not so spread out. They like the close competitive nature and added pressure of having anglers within close proximity of each other. I'd say smaller lakes have a likely shot. The one down in Star City is a good example. A bit too small but not likely anyone has fished it. Greers Ferry? Maybe but probably too large. Lakes around Little Rock area are also good possibilities. It's a big body of water and a big puzzle and tough to crack. Some locals know some secrets and bring in some hefty sacks in local events but it seems only the locals that win tournaments know the mystery that is this lakes reputation as "tough". moguy1973 Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 The trio of Hamilton, Ouachita, and DeGray would of be a good bunch to put them on. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
Guest Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 The trio of Hamilton, Ouachita, and DeGray would of be a good bunch to put them on. that's a real good guess. Ive fished all 3 of those lakes in the past. Personally, I want to see them fish at Dardanelle & Dumas on the Arkansas River. Land of the 25lb bag.
Quillback Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Must have been in the spring - I was watching the MLF show last night that is in Maine and they had a couple of the guys that had qualified from the Oklahoma tourney.
