aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 WE caught a nice mess a couple springs ago in a brush pile big one was 16' and then a couple 13 and 14's. The smallest in that pic looks tiny but it is actually 10 1/2. The others are just big. They are all pretty skinny though, nothing like Bull Shoals or Stockton crappie. We also caught a couple everytime we went bass fishing this winter throwing jerkbaits. Everywhere from the put in under HWY 65 down to the boat house. I see guys catching crappie there quite often but they dont look to be very big. As for eating the fish, they are fine. That is a rumor Kinda like the man eating catfish under and Dam the size of volkswagons.

He is a great treasure trove of info about Springfield lake if every body had a pole and a fish on the line there would never be a war
