blacknoseddace Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Just wondering what jig colors are most popular on bass for imitating the crawfish at Stockton Lake. For me a olive green seems to work well. Anybody do any good on other craw colors?
5bites Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Green pumpkin all the time and all the time green pumpkin.
blacknoseddace Posted January 21, 2015 Author Posted January 21, 2015 Fantastic! I'm on board with you guy's. Thanks!
5bites Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Wait I shoulda read better. That's my trailer color. My favorite jig color is brown with purple flash.
Dutch Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I carry lots of colors and sizes. My favorite is the one they bite best. Last time it was a brown/green with a paca craw trailer.
mjk86 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 a touch of purple always helps me on stockton, for reasons i dont know. (maybe its in my head) 5bites 1
Smalls21 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 i have noticed on stockton if i use a contrasting color of trailer( EX: green pumpkin jig/PB&J trailer) I get more bites.
