I'm looking for lures to tinker with.

Rapala risto raps, fat raps, dt's etc

Bagley whatever's

Condition isn't critical. I'm literally going to be modifying them and some may get destroyed. Obviously I don't want a big investment in baits like that.

You picked the wrong baits to tinker with for cheap then cause all of them you mentioned fetch a pretty penny these days. Even in somewhat rough shape.

Ha. I guess maybe I am just cheap and wouldn't want to tinker with a bunch of NIP $10 baits. Risto's depending on model are getting crazy. The RR4's are going for like $35 a piece now. What in the heck? But I guess same can be said for Pre Rap Warts...what in the heck?

5bites these may not be what your looking for but I purchased a box of jerk baits the other day for the pointers that were in it and there are several slash baits mostly in fair shape if you want them. Yea I agree lol. I didn't say it was smart. I haven't dug around for 4's yet. I know they're high but that's net stuff. You have to look out in the wild, not fb, ebay, or bbc.

Just wait til early early spring in March and April when the wart bite is at it's peak around 50-58 degree water temps. Or someone on the BASS Elite trail uses one and does well. Prices bump up again. Couple of years ago over on Bull Shoals during the BASS event Elites were gobbling up all the pre rap warts they could get their hands on. I specifically remember people going crazy during and after that tournament for the V209 red craw but the more rare version with the green back instead of black. Crazy stuff. Just like last year after the classic Livingston Lures flying off the shelves and also the Rapala DT6 in Red Demon with prices jacked up because of Randy Howell.
