Old plug Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 It's not Gavin. The thing that really intrigued me was that split ring hanging from the what i think was the eye. Do not know why that never dawned on me. If that is what it is it will make a swivel jig out of any plain jig.
Gavin Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Mitch read and shot me a text about the Albright jig. Buck tail red thread skinny grub. Single plastic guard. Produce a pic with a ruler to gauge size & proportions and I will tie you some.
Old plug Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I would like to see that picture. I had tied a bit of hackle on my jig when I use to tie my own back in the day. Because of the way prices are rising I have recently returned to making my own. After a good bit of fumvbeling around.I have decided the below as the way my jigs will be tied. I want to make clear I make them for myself. Not intereted in selling anything.
Members Jozark Posted February 5, 2015 Author Members Posted February 5, 2015 My dad will be down on at Table Rock this weekend, and will try and get a photo. Mitch F had sent me a PM and informed me that he thought a company by the name of Kay Key lure Co. produced the hair jig for Tony. Mitch sent me the number but it is no longer in service, so I assume the company is out of business. Thank you all for your help.
WeekendWarrior Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 It was called the "jig and twister" I believe and was white in color
