A small group of us from the KC area are looking at coming down to Beaver the first weekend of May. Going to have 5-10 trucks/boats so somewhere with room to park without unhooking and power to run to chargers would be a huge plus. Not looking for anything fancy, just a place to shower, sleep, and charge the batteries. :have-a-nice-day:I searched and found lots of places, but I'm sure there's lots of unlisted ones also that might be a better option. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I live in Eureka but haven't spent a night in a hotel...your biggest problem will be the boats and power.

I'm thinking the Best Western near the convention center will be a good hit as it has a lot of parking, something most hotels here don't have. It is on a 90-degree corner on Highway 62, so that may be a concern.

You won't find anything that isn't on Highway 62 or 23 that will work. I also think you'll probably have to unhook your boats--few of the hotels, if any, have room to leave your boat hooked up and give you access to power unless you have the heavy-duty cord.

One other concern-- Eureka Springs seems to have some kind of convention or meeting on a weekly basis once the weather turns nice, so you need to take that into consideration as well.

Yep, another option, if you want to fish mid-lake, is Copper Mine Lodge. They have a dock also. Never have stayed there myself.

I would do mid lake. Unless you have a particular reason for going to the dam and seeing 20ft down. :-)

I have had more luck mid lake and up river. The Coppermine suggestion is a good one. We need a place like Lileys Landing down here! :-)

I'm town (Rogers/Springdale/Lowell) has a plethora of hotel options with access to electric. When FLW is I'm town, the hotels are booked up solid with boats everywhere.

He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!

Thanks guys, I think those cabins on the White look like a great option. I'm not against trying to catch a couple trout while I'm down there anyways :)
