NoLuck Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 It's that time again. 2 more weeks till the opener. Who's going to be there? It should be interesting. Low clear water and not a lot of area for all the people. Sunday's typically tend to be the busiest openers I believe. I plan on going down to see the show. If it clears out I will drop a fly in and see if I can land a fish or two.
upstream Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 I'm in . Can't wait my first opener trythisonemv, Lancer09 and fishbait3 3
NoLuck Posted February 15, 2015 Author Posted February 15, 2015 I'm hoping we get a foot of snow?. That'll keep them away.
brittsnbirds Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Wonder if JR would be opposed to me starting a Valet service. Cut him in on the action?? That's the only reason I would go again!!
NoLuck Posted February 25, 2015 Author Posted February 25, 2015 It's gonna be too cold and wet. Everyone should just stay home. I'll give a good detailed report as I brave the brutal elements. Hah!!!

upstream Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 When has the opener been postponed because of weather ?
Members Corky Posted February 25, 2015 Members Posted February 25, 2015 Seen it happen in the 60's and 70's, maybe in the 80's if they are calling for bad weather and it starts , they don't won't to put the Governor in danger in either driving or flying him in because they have a SPECICAl SPOT for Him that they stock HEAVY with EXTRA trout and they don't like anybody else fishing there, a lot of 3lb. Plus fish put out.
