Justin Spencer Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Nice to see we can both complain about the lack of conservation agents and not enough enforcement and at the same time complain about the rules and regulations that the conservation agents aren't there to enforce. That is what keeps me coming back to this forum, much like what I see congress doing. bfishn, Daryk Campbell Sr and Chief Grey Bear 3 "The problem with a politician’s quote on Facebook is you don’t know whether or not they really said it." –Abraham Lincoln Tales of an Ozark Campground Proprietor Dead Drift Fly Shop

Members Claybuster Posted March 1, 2015 Members Posted March 1, 2015 Well for snows you can go unplugged. "The Conservation Order for light geese will be in effect from Feb. 1 to April 30 with no bag limit. Hunters may use electronic calls and unplugged shotguns, and shoot from ½ hour before sunrise to ½ hour after sunset. A Conservation Order Permit is the only permit required for residents & nonresidents during this time" This just in.......... Snow goose conservation order = just another tourist boom! I kill a lions share of snow geese every spring, and every spring it gets a little tougher because some commercial interest has leased up the good fields or otherwise made it too COMPLICATED for the average joe! Tourism? $$$$?? Commercialized???
