well crud, sorry. Try a search in your FB page for TinBoats BassClub. Others have found it that way.

Last year was the first year that I havent ran upriver for whites. We caught many while chunking traps for crappie around the southern end of the lake. Those we caught were in the 9" to 12" range. I plan on fishing up river a way this spring, and hope to hook up a few walleye while im up there. Got a few holes that usually produce.

Hey everyone,

The first club meeting will be March 21, at 10:30am. I reserved the meeting room at the Golden Corral located at 2734 N. Kansas Expy. just south of Interstate 44 in Springfield. Tell them your with TinBoats BassClub.

Meal prices are $8.99 adult, $7.29 kids age 9-12, $5.19 kids 4-8, and 3 and under free. They will have breakfast and lunch at this time.

At this meeting, I will take names of those interested in holding a spot on the commitee, as well as yearly dues of $50.00, or that can be paid before the March 28 tournament. This will be a good time to be active from the first meeting, and meet other people who love the sport.

Hope to see ya there. Jerry

Looking at these newer aluminum boats can cost ya $20,000 plus nowadays.

LOL, yeah, X2!

Will a tin boat that is big, loud, inboard, and without a whirligig sticking in the water on the back be allowed?

Real men go propless!

A fast followup on the ice chest live well. I got another catalog from one of the big sporting goods places in the past couple days, I think it was BPS but not for sure. Skimming thru it before it went to the recycle bin, toward the back of it was a kit like we're talking about. It was I believe $ 47 or so which seems way high to me. I suspect the cheapest small bilge pump at WallyWorld or Academy, plus $ 6 or $ 8 of plastic pipe and tubing from HD or Lowes could almost cut that in half. Either way, the kit still exists from the usual places.

Hey Gator,

Your whirligigless boat should work. If it catches more fish without that, then we may have to make a slight modification to the rule book. :)

Thanks again Larry,

Academy had the whole chest, with aerator and all for sale, I didnt even look at the price, but they do have one. Im pretty sure, in a short amount of time, and little money, that one could be made. Youtube can be your friend for those looking for ideas.

Well, the beautiful, warm weather is here, but so still is the bronchial pneumonia....two and a half weeks on antibiotics and I think it's finally beginning to let up a bit. I never had pneumonia before I moved to Missouri and I've now had it THREE times in the last 5 years and I do get a regular pneumonia shot. But I see some crocuses blooming in the yard! Thank goodness, Spring is finally showing itself.

I have a friend, a Jewish carpenter, whom you should get to know. If you do, your life will never be the same.

Its a nasty bug Bill. Ive had it twice over the years. They say it damages your lungs each time, and your lungs never recover from the damage. Yes it was a beautiful day.
