Members johnbuoy Posted March 23, 2015 Author Members Posted March 23, 2015 Just a bit of info about that day the water in the Kings was a pretty muddy around the Sweetwater area. But the further you went up the River it seemed to clear up some. Surface temp up River was around 52. Fshing in about 20 ft of water on a brush pile. Still be careful when you travel in the Kings there was still a lot of floating timber. Good luck to you all!! Champ188 1
Members dabull23_99 Posted March 24, 2015 Members Posted March 24, 2015 Hey JohnBuoy, what were you using for bait? Unless it secret...
Members johnbuoy Posted March 24, 2015 Author Members Posted March 24, 2015 I was actually using several baits but the jig heads were most 1/16 oz road runners and that didn't matter on color. Swimming minnows for the most part. When I started vertical jigging it was in about 9 ft of water I used a 1/16 oz pink jig with a electric/chartreuse sparkle tube and that works for those downed trees.
