Feathers and Fins Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 This is just a heads up the last three days have seen unbelievable crappy fishing. The majority of fish are from 1ft to 14ft bottom depths suspending in 1ft to 6ft off banks with ledges present. ( Sight casting to many of them ) Use 1/16th ounce heads and your favorite Bobby Garlands and slowly swim it back to you. Park your boat at the edge of casting distance or you will spook them and shut the bite down. 52 Degree's is the Magic water Temperature. chi0082 Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 That's some good catching there F&F. Thanks for the report. Any hybrid, walleye, or striper action?
Feathers and Fins Posted March 25, 2015 Author Posted March 25, 2015 I caught 10 stripers Monday but Tuesday and Today I was locked in on the crappie so not looking for anything else. They are around I have had many reports of them but for me the freezer is full of striper and not of crappie so the little fish need to come home Try for the stripers in 2 to 6ft of water along flats they are surprisingly shallow in the morning then moving out to 20ft when the sun comes up. Walleye are all over the upper river arms, I had many reports of limits from War Eagle arm but you had to wade through tons of whites. This weeks report is going to be fun to do. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
Feathers and Fins Posted March 26, 2015 Author Posted March 26, 2015 I think it will actually help. water been real clear and some stain could make it better. My only concern is it pushes them deeper or with these storms it might raise the lake a lot more. Ferguson Bills 1 https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
