Members UncleB Posted March 26, 2015 Members Posted March 26, 2015 I too am mostly a lurker. Got down Sunday for our 2 month spring trip. Fortunate to have fished the Rock for 40 plus years and still learning. Fished from Indian Point to Spring Branch yester and two of us had 17 fish with 9 keepers, one of which was 5 lb. All sent back swimming. Caught on ned, grub, spinner bait and couple on a jig. Hope this cool down doesn't mess things up. But, that's the Rock in the Spring. Uncle B Muddy Water 1 Bruce Etter
Bill Babler Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 That is a truly great day, for what we have been having especially in that area. Just a wait and see deal on the lake now. It started raining here at 5 PM and has not stopped yet at 9AM. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
bobby b. Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Hello Uncle B, Can you give a few details - depth and type of ground? I'll be in that area tomorrow. Would have liked to go back up to Cape Fair but it may be trashy again. Thanks Bobby
Members UncleB Posted March 27, 2015 Author Members Posted March 27, 2015 Depth was 6 to 15 ft. Was mixed rock close to spawning area. But, this front probably changes things up a bit Bruce Etter
