Bubbas Dad Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 I am in need of some 8oz to maybe 12oz bank sinkers. Anyone have any for sale around Branson?????????
ciRe Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 What I do for those weights is wait for snagging season to end. The river drops and I go out where people get snagged and pick them up. I Keep about half for next years snagging season and melt down the other half for 8oz no roll sinkers for the river. Idk how big of a rush you are in but it's nothing to get a gallon bucket full of weights. And if you plan on actually using them in a high current area I would recommend the no roll sinkers.
Bubbas Dad Posted March 29, 2015 Author Posted March 29, 2015 Thanks for the input. I need some for tomorrow but I be looking when the water goes down!!!!!!!!!!!!!
grizwilson Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Well, those who know me are aware I am quite frugal. I take old spark plugs and bend the gap closed, those are my bank sinkers, can likely hook you up with a sack full around any car shop for just a few odd looks???? g Daryk Campbell Sr 1 “If a cluttered desk is a sign, of a cluttered mind, of what then, is an empty desk a sign?”- Albert Einstein

I found some the other day at the gas station in Galena, but I will remember this thanks.
Members bajacoop Posted April 7, 2015 Members Posted April 7, 2015 Let me know if you need some in the future. My prices are a lot better than any gas station.
