merc1997 Bo Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 fished out of big m again last night. pretty much same as night before 10 keepers, but had a 4 and a 5. the two biggest came just before we quit at 1, and both came on a SpinJig. the jig bite did change. nothing on the hair jig and all on a 3/8 with brown and blue skirt and blue trailer. i feel that both nights, the bass were actually just beginning to get really going at 1, but have lots of work to get done. the position of the bass did change just a bit, and that is they had moved to the ends of the channel banks to just where the channel started to enter or leave a bank. like a said, a pack of dogs. got to hunt them up every trip. we did catch three keepers before dark on the single spins paralleling the steep bluffs. bo OldMillRoad, eyedabassman and Hammer time 3
Fish24/7 Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 bo, do you use solunar calendars? . I do, they are really accurate most of the time. The calendar for April shows the late night bite being good this week
Sprint21fter Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 I was going to ask where was the moon was at 1am. At 8:45 last night it was overhead so I figured that the night bite might start to happen.
Hammer time Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Great report I can't wait for them to move into pockets that's when I do about 80% night fishing with a single spin and a magnum zoom lizard
