Put in @ Roark about 9:00, ran up to Powerline cove and caught one on the 3rd cast, here we go! Spent about 90 min. in Powerline and ended up with 4 keepers and a total of 8 bass. Went on up to Greeser and had 4 more before the thunder started so we headed back to Roark only to find a number of boats waiting to haul out and the rain beginning to fall. We made a choice to run on down to the Mutton docks and wait out the rain. 3 hours later the rain & wind stopped, we had 6 nice keeper crappie & one white in the live-well and we were on our way back out to fish our way back to Roark. After the rain we caught another 9 bass with only 2 keepers. Just in the last 3 days the smaller males have moved to that bank. Water temps stayed at 55 all day, winds out of the SE @ 15 to 20 in the morning with cloudy skies most of the day. Crankbaits & shakey Heads were the ticket for us all day. Jim, sorry we didn't get to meet up in the river, I almost went up there to wait out the rain, man am I glad I didn't!! Tight Lines!

i had to run into o reilly's and get a new tab ring for my prop and by the time i got it fixed the wind was howling down here and the Tstorms were just starting to pop up on the dade cedar line. my tourney partner was up sons just at sun up throwing warts and he was doing pretty good but he had to pull off the water about 9:00 because the railroad called him into work early. we will get together soon i'm sure but I decided to play it better safe than sorry especially since i was have prop troubles.
