timsfly Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Roaring River is bank full, hasn't really flooded yet, but it is about as full as it can get Before it floods. Going to be a good day for plastics, and spoons, and 1/8 oz jigs. Tim Homesley 23387 st. hwy 112 Cassville, Mo 65625 Roaring River State park Tim's Fly Shop www.missouritrout.com/timsflyshop

Johnsfolly Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Tim, Have you guys been getting heavy rain the last couple of days or expect any? How is the river? The USGS looks like the water level has been dropping. Does it still have a lot of color? We (ok I am) are getting anxious for a road trip and are thinking about coming down this weekend. Any information or advice of lures if the water is still colored would be appreciated. Thanks.
timsfly Posted April 10, 2015 Author Posted April 10, 2015 Still murky, good level, fishing well with buggers, mega worms, San Juan worms, Y2K bugs, seeing more caddis, and blue wing olives everyday. Johnsfolly Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Thanks for the information Tim. If we do head down that way, we'll try to stop in at the fly shop.
