Alex Heitman Posted April 10, 2015 Author Posted April 10, 2015 Okay thanks GNS. Doesn't look to hard but have never replaced one before. Hope it's an easy fix.
GNSfishing Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 The hard part is snaking through the sleeve containing the wires. Then adjusting the pedal positions to your liking with the gear rack.
Alex Heitman Posted April 11, 2015 Author Posted April 11, 2015 When you say snaking can you just thread the wire cable through the housing or do you have to take the whole thing out and out new one in.
GNSfishing Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Just attach the new one to the old cable and pull the new one through the sleeve. That's the way I pulled the new cable on my Motorguide trolling motor.
Alex Heitman Posted April 11, 2015 Author Posted April 11, 2015 No one has it down it Branson. Tried Ulrich and they are not open. Only place would be at marine repair in Srpingfield. huntest 1
dtrs5kprs Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 And isn't it amazing no one carries such a basic item at a lake that has as much use as Table Rock? Not like you are trying to find one at Bull.
mixermarkb Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 It's a serious long shot, because they never have anything useful, but maybe the BPS at Branson?
Alex Heitman Posted April 11, 2015 Author Posted April 11, 2015 Mixer they don't carry trolling motor parts there for some reason? What's new. Contacted a bicycle shop and going there now to check.
steveearle Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Lawn mower cord from a hardware store will work, as well..

I'd like to know how that works out. Shift cables I assume? Wonder if spooled cable from a hardware store would work?
