Lifes2Short Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Tough day on the water. Fished from 7 to 2 out of Roark. If someone would have told me that I wouldn't have caught a keeper this time of year I would have said they were crazy. Spent most of the day up in the river, 1 small keeper walleye and 14 non-keeper bass. Walleye came on the blade and most of the other dinks came on shakey heads or senkos. 52 to 55 water temps, wind (15 to 25) out of every direction at one point in the day, mid-day rain, cloudy until we gave up, but there were some AWESOME clouds. Tight Lines! Jbrant and blacknoseddace 2
Members edwards6717 Posted April 13, 2015 Members Posted April 13, 2015 It was a tough day. I was hoping it wasn't just me who was unable to find many fish. I had two 16 inch keepers near Birch branch both of which came on a rockcrawler about 5 cast apart, and that was the only two fish I caught.
buddygr53 Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 How is water temp up bye the dam. And is it clear

Hunter91 Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 We were in Sons all day Saturday. Caught 40+ bass with just two keepers, one was 3.5lbs. The majority came on jerkbait shallow. Caught fish on just about everything we threw though. SB, jig, red eye shad, wart. Ranger520vx 1
Aggressor1988long Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Upper lake is colder hit 62degrees around Aldrich. I believe the bigger fish are hanging around timber about 15 feet and feeding after dark.
