zarraspook Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 This should help.... "Look up OPTIMIST in the dictionary - there is a picture of a fishing boat being launched"
Members ranger90 Posted April 15, 2015 Author Members Posted April 15, 2015 Thanks everyone appreciate the help! Wasn't sure if there was a ramp at 39 or not
Members ranger90 Posted April 15, 2015 Author Members Posted April 15, 2015 How's the fishing around 39 bridge area? Any areas I should try or tips to help? I'm still learning the lake and mainly fish aldrich-cedar ridge area
Lifes2Short Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 There is a TON of timber everywhere up in Son's Creek, take it slow and easy, even in what appears to be open water....many a boat has been torn up and/or run up on shallow water if you don't know where you are going. The best thing to do is just get on the water and take a look-see. Sac River Jim 1
Members Big Oak Posted April 15, 2015 Members Posted April 15, 2015 Yeah even if ur graph says u are in the channel it's still dangerous! Sac River Jim 1
5bites Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Especially if you're in the channel. That's were the most and biggest trees are. Sac River Jim 1
Sac River Jim Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 my friend Dill grew up on sons creek and he wont even run from ruark to 39 yet, that channel is very dangerous and van get you hurt if your not careful. when the water comes up a little more theres a way to run the flat up there. Bob Bennett and a fella named Willy from Greenfield are the only two ive seen run it this spring. if i was you i'd put in at 39 and fish around the little island, the flat on the west side of the road bed but dont go to the back of it it's pretty shallow and go under the bridge staying on the left side and fish the little pockets and the stumps in the channel.
