Members TeamKingTuckey Posted January 25, 2007 Members Posted January 25, 2007 I was wondering when the walleye run up to powersite and when is a good time to catch them up there..? In search for "Papa Pump" ><(((*>
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 25, 2007 Root Admin Posted January 25, 2007 Now thru March. And best time is anytime you can get away and go fish! Cloudy, nasty days are best I've found for walleye.
Members TeamKingTuckey Posted January 25, 2007 Author Members Posted January 25, 2007 What methods would one use to catch them.? and what type of stucture should i look for? In search for "Papa Pump" ><(((*>
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 25, 2007 Root Admin Posted January 25, 2007 There's quite a bit of info if you look back at some old post from last year. http://ozarkanglers.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=625 http://ozarkanglers.com/forums/index.php?showforum=106 Here are a couple of places. I'm no expert at all but rogues seem to be the best. Walleye like any structure and eddies. And they bite best at night.
MoCarp Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 Rogues, thundersticks--or my favorite a 5 inch power shad tail on a 4/0 hook but cast on a 1/4 oz swimhead Mo MONKEYS? what monkeys?

crappiefisherman Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Very nice fish. I am antsy to catch something. Were the fish caught on these dates this year?In this month? Sorry for the questions but Phil is right , short sleeve weather has been a little slack lately. Also I want to know has all the brush removal below the dam helped or hurt the fishing on the forsyth side of the dam?Maybe it has done some good, huh.
