Members CrappieMaster24 Posted April 19, 2015 Members Posted April 19, 2015 Decided to go up and fish off of the bank in flat creek today and ended up with 10 keepers 11-12.5" and threw back 2 shorts. Fish stopped biting about noon. Last weekend took the boat out and went with my dad. We started fishing at 3pm and stopped at 7pm. In four hours we ended up catching a good sized limit between us both trips only one female in the bunch.. Hopefully things really Heat up here soon! Phil Lilley 1
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 I think its slowing down, a month ago i caught my limit in 35 minutes and had a couple of other limit days and they were all females. went last week and caught 15 with only 6 keepers, they were all skinny
ten_scoach Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Definitely slowing down. A lot of "limits" have come out of flat the last few weeks.
Members CrappieMaster24 Posted April 23, 2015 Author Members Posted April 23, 2015 do you think they spawned yet then?
Members CrappieMaster24 Posted April 24, 2015 Author Members Posted April 24, 2015 If 15 10" fish or bigger is a "limit" then yes we got a limit lol
ten_scoach Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 I haven't been to flat in a while, but I would think it's at the tail end of it by now. Guys have been hammering the fish in the flat and point 15 area now since February. I am sure you could go work up some crappie but I would think it would take a few casts to hook up.
