DADAKOTA Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 The cooler weather over the weekend made them tougher to catch in the morning, but they were still shallow when we found them. Evenings produced great action for our group. Rippertails in red/chart, black/chart, and blue/white did all the damage for three boats. Great baits that are very durable. Caught 30+ fish on one bait. Glad to here you guys did well... My FIL said the same thing again... Really slow in the morning but on fire in the early evening! That's been the theme for 3 weeks now.
DADAKOTA Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 My advice for mornings is to stay on the move unless you have a few tried and true spots. We whacked them on a couple spots in the morning and these spots were even better in the afternoon. There is some good morning fishing available, but it seems that there are more hot spots in the PM.
