Members unclefish Posted April 23, 2015 Members Posted April 23, 2015 The other day I was on my way to mutton creek and I noticed a new ownership sign on that little convenient store where 215 and H connect. I stopped in to check it out and was quite surprised it was clean all new shelves new stock had a clean eating area. I asked if they had minnows they did both crappie and shiners and a full line of baits. Before they didn't open until 7 or 8 o'clock now they were open at 6 am. I bought 3 dozen crappie minnows and I got to tell ya they don't count them. I looked in the bucket and there had to of been over 8 doz. in there. Before this place was kind of trashy but now its nice and clean and convenient. ness 1

straw hat Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Is that just west of the 215 bridge (mile long bridge) by Hawker Point?
Members unclefish Posted April 23, 2015 Author Members Posted April 23, 2015 you take 215 west out of bona and at the store 215 goes right to state park and if you would go straight that's Hy H and it goes to mutton
Sac River Jim Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 glad to see the little store opening earlier good luck to the new owners! zarraspook 1
slab slinger Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Use to be called country depot. Yes it was kinda trashy. Its called Sac And Sons now. The same people that own Sac And Sons off 32 bought the store and reopened it. Nice clean store, nice people, good minnows and decent tackle/ junk food selection. They store campers and boats also. Highly recommend stopping there for minnows unclefish is right they give you your money's worth of minners. Jim Elam 1
