Empty Hands Today!

Went to my best hole today and after the long hike in and hunting for 2 hrs i left with empty hands and confusion. Hit my second best hole also and nothing as well. Don't know if there done for the year or just need rain. Anyone been finding any the past few days?

I think it is over around here. Grass too tall to find them anyway.

I looked at posts last year and there were big finds up in the second week of may. It was hotter last year also. I think with the cool temps if we get some rain soon they pop one last time but who knows!

Good luck on the turks. They've been kinda tough this year for me. Between henned up and hang ups it's been rough huntin for me. Shrooms...Who knows on them.

Thanks...yeah the one time i did get to go earlier in season i had one coming hard but i was in the wrong place and he hung up on me in a field and wouldnt come on down. Im hopeing to get a late season youngen thats looking for some action! The hard thing about this late is settin still cause they will still come to a call but its a better chance that they will be quiet about it and not come in hollering. Either way its good to just be out in Gods creation. Going tomorrow night to check a spot for shrooms that i found them late in last year. I will post my results

I need to expand out into other mushroom types, and live through it. I've read those are pretty easy to ID. Jack OLantern are close, but easy to rule out?
