On the lake monday through wendsday couldn't find crappie but we caught about 40 short walleye only 2 were keepers we did catch about a dozen large mouth, they still had eggs. I guess we need to fish later for the crappie spawn.

Thanks for the info. It's hard to get any info on Bull Shoals. Either people don't fish there or they're secretive on giving info out. At least you were in the walleye.

worst Spring for crappie i've seen in 15yrs...

have yet to see anybody I know with a limit of crappie in the last 8 weeks

even the night bite under lights is slow from what I've heard.

they can be caught, but it has not been as good as it should be imo

walleye bite has been pretty good.

The crappie anglers that we have been in contact with haven't be doing any good since the water start rising this spring. The same thing occurred on Lake Norfork too.

We saw a few crappie while conducting our spring bass samples on Bull Shoals near the end of April. Most of them were really dark suggesting they were about to start spawning.

just got word the crappie are starting to show themselves a little. Saw someone cleaning a few yesterday, and they still had eggs
