Had a fatastic day, we caught over in 60 bass together c-rig lizard shakey head and underspin. 9 keepers and I lucked in to a 5.34 walleye on c-rig lizard. Main lake points and cuts 6-12 fow. Sac River Jim Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 i got schooled today hammer put it on me. i was counting on my shakey and wobblehead bite to hold but it blew up in my face. around 5 i gave in and asked hammer for a c rig and was able to redeem myself atleast a little. I wittnessed the C rig bite for myself and it was awsome. Thnx Hammer i had a great time with you today and learned alot from you. Jason i enjoyed fishing with you yesterday. In a few days i bet the trolling bite for crappie will get more consistent. I think i'm gonna have a relapse from the just in case syndrome. I tried to pack light today and only bring what i was confident in but had all the wrong stuff including rods. next time hammer we better take my boat cause i think you might have a calf if i show up to the ramp with 150lbs of tackle hahahaha!!!!! Unimog Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 That's awesome, I don't think I've had the ball and chain work as well as it has the last 2-3 weeks at stockton.
Lifes2Short Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Good to meet you Hammer! So very sorry about my rookie move almost throwing you out of the boat, what a bone-head move! Happy to hear & see that you had a great day! Let's fish sometime!
packersooner Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Wow...excellent day guys! That is a nice eye! Yeah Jim enjoyed fishing with you Monday. Your tips and tricks were much appreciated! Agree that the trolling bite will become much more consistent in the next week or two. Should stay good through June. Jason
slab slinger Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Nice eye! Sounds like a great trip with alot of action. The C-rig lizzard has been great almost every spring for me on Stockton. I split shot rig them as well this time of year. Try C-riggin a lil critter craw as well this time of yr. Sac River Jim 1
Aggressor1988long Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Just ribbing you hammer time, nice fish, it will taste good with fried taters
