Guest Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Tenkiller Lake Pool elevation is 643.59 feet Flood control pool is 28.43% full. 11ft of water in the bushes http://www.swt-wc.usace.army.mil/TENK.lakepage.html With the Arkansas River approaching major flood stage, don't look for them to open the gates anytime soon. They are generating everyday with a stout flow for a short period of time. I expect the lake to hit 650ft by next week.

Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted May 28, 2015 Root Admin Posted May 28, 2015 What is this going to do for the striper fishing this summer? When the river drops to manageable levels, shouldn't it be pretty good fly fishing the river there in Tulsa?
Guest Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 It's known for big striper. The Arkansas needs to fall out before they start generating at TK again. Top of the flood pool isn't too far away.
