5bites Posted June 11, 2015 Author Posted June 11, 2015 good reports, did someone say pitching and flipping?! i like pitching , ok let's be honest, I'm addicted to it! 5bites, glad you stuck with your pitching bite. it's not bull headed, it's what you like to do ,so have fun doing it! when flip'n and pitching I put my boat in the gnarliest stuff I can find all the time so what if it get's scraped and scratched, I'm after big bites! I knew I'd get fewer bites but I'd enjoy the ones I got better if I was flipping wood. Table Rock isn't in it very often so I take advantage of it when I can. I will say I'm disappointed in the lack of leaves on the buck brush. Did the flood a few years ago hurt them? I know Stockton being high so long so often killed the willow trees and it's a dead forrest now. The lack of leaves might explain why the fish were buried deeper. If all goes right all be back down in a few weeks and by then they'll have the bottom sucked out of the lake so I imagine if I want to pitch to anything it'll mean a run into the river.
Champ188 Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Very nice picture of the boys on the bridge, that is the best keeper you got for the trip. I'm with BB. That's a fine shot. You guys will look back on that many years from now. 5bites 1
