My youngest daughter (19) and myself put in at Bolivar Landing at 6am. We fished a few areas we normally fish. We caught fish pretty quickly. I was fishing a PBJ jig and she was throwing the Ned.

We fished a bluff bank in 25' of water catching 3 keepers in short order.

Around 10 she wanted to troll. With the smaller #5 Flicker Shad on both rods, we ended up with 9 drum, biggest being 3.17 pounds, a few short crappie, a few short bass, and a few 12" crappie she caught.

Great day with my daughter on the water. All 4 of my kids fish/hunt but now that their getting older, going to college, work, etc. its getting harder to get them out.

Lots of debris at the ramp still. 1 lane was open to launch from. Water was really stained and floating timber.

On a side note, alot of you have seen my posts using a bait i found floating on TR that jolicious painted and lost. Ive used that bait on every lake ive fished, including Fork last weekend. In the mail i received (several) baits from him. What an upstanding guy he is. Thanks brudda.

Last pic is of a bass i caught on 1 of his cranks.

neat report. When my daughter was about that age we spent a week at LOZ, and she wanted to fish the Wednesday Night tournament. So we did, by 9 pm we had 3 keepers, maybe 8 lbs worth. I knew it wasn't going to be enough even if we got lucky and caught 10 more lbs. I said let's head back to the condo, but she refused to quit until quitting time. We caught one more keeper, and she insisted we weigh them in. She of course carried the bag to scales, then came back to watch the rest of the weigh in with me. A few minutes later, she says, "there are a lot of scary looking guys here". LOL! Probably 60+ guys who worked all day, and then fished 3.5 hours in 90 degree temps and high humidity! We still laugh about it. She is now an anesthesiologist, so she could "knock" any of them out. Memories. I will remember that tournament far longer than most of them I have fished.

Good story Jerry. 'my name also'

My 3 daughters and son and i have spent countless hours on the waters and woods over the years. It always warms my heart when i hear them telling one of the stories from their encounters growing up.

My youngest would fit right in with yours. She had to pee the last 2 hours yesterday, but wouldnt quit fishing to go back to the ramp, until it was time to go.
