Members Jordan2352 Posted July 11, 2015 Author Members Posted July 11, 2015 That just makes me more excited to hit the water tomorrow how well do spinners work on the river?
2sheds Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Hey Jordan, Spinners are fine, but there may be certain Zones that restrict to a single hook, rather than a treble hook. I haven't seen this explicitly written for you, so will offer my two cents. If you guys have not done a lot of trout fishing, it would be well worth your while to stop by Tim's fly shop on your way into the park. Tim's place is about a mile north of the park on the highway toward Cassville, on the west side of the road. Tim helps manage this RR forum and is truly the preeminent expert on Roaring River, plus other fishing in this area. He can offer the latest info on which flies/lures are doing best and which water conditions/spots would be good for the style of fishing you want to enjoy.
