7-12-15 Report

[Seth]

We went to Bagnell with hopes of bowfishing, but it was too muddy. L uckily shad were easy to get along the lookout wall so we catfished. It was very slow except for a 30-45 minute flurry between 10-11am. In that time we caught six blues. The smallest was a three pounder and the biggest was just under 25 pounds. After that flurry, we fished three more hours and never caught another fish. The five smaller ones were kept for a fish fry and the big one got released to grow bigger.
