BilletHead Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Been seeing bunches of dove. There is a lot of wheat stubble too wet to drill beans in that are holding the feathered rockets. Do you realize we will be hunting teal in two months? dnj21 Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 We are seeing a LOT of wet fields around Jeff City & Columbia. Not great for Dove hunting, but Teal season could be a riot if everything is still flooded come mid September......
brother dave Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Good dog! Fields in the flood plain are still pretty wet up here around st louis too. . Macks prairie wings, is touting free shipping on winchester shot shells when you buy a case. And blind side has a 50 dollar rebate. I shop at the outdoor grocery store
JohnP Posted July 28, 2015 Author Posted July 28, 2015 Thanks. That field we were in is off of y hwy below powersite dam and now about 5 plus foot under water. Rogers sporting goods is advertising free shipping on cases of shotgun ammo and some other decent deals on hunting gear as well.
BilletHead Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Two cases have been ordered and received. AND Rebate has already been received. Things are not far off just need to get this hot weather out of the way! Flysmallie Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I drove by a field last week taking my kid to archery. There had to have been 300 birds on the power lines next to the field. They were all doves. Looks like it should be a good year if you have a good place to shoot. I could limit out in my front yard right now if I wanted to.
