Members lewis.stull Posted July 26, 2015 Members Posted July 26, 2015 Jacob how have you been catching them. If you don't mind giving out some tips.
Members JacobW Posted July 26, 2015 Members Posted July 26, 2015 Points have been the best with a few caught just going down the bank. Bluff ends are a good place to look as well. Most are in the 15 foot range as Phil said but have caught them on out to 25 foot and one caught suspended over 40 feet deep. I fish for them with a drop shot rig tied with a #4 drop shot hook and 1/4 ounce weight and a third of a night crawler, which is exactly the rig I use for bass also. Believe it or not, electronics are a lot of help too. Champ188 and magicwormman 2
Members oldasdirt Posted July 29, 2015 Members Posted July 29, 2015 I've got company coming in was going to try to entertain them with some blue gill fishing any suggestion would be great. Easiest location is the dam area to get to but would be open to others. Fig on crickets on trout rods. I was thinking 20 -30 ft off deeper docks and just move around catch and release. That's my plan but could use suggestion
