Smithvillesteve Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Thinking about coming down to the Rock mid week. Be fishing around the Big M area. Any advice would be welcomed. Will be bass fishing. All catch and release Champ!! Looks like the weather will be in upper 80's with a chance of rain. I can deal upper 80's this time of year. My plan is to hit bluff ends and points. Mostly use finesse tactics. Ned, drop shots, Carolina rigs. Any advice on where, what, colors would be deeply appreciated.
Quillback Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I haven't fished that area in a month, but your plan sounds good, bluff ends and points. Drop shot, c-rig, and FB jigs. I would not be afraid to throw a shaky head either on some of the bluffs, steep banks with trees, and chunk rock banks.
