Floated Kerr to Y-bridge yesterday. I didn't do any fishing, to many people for me, but my buddy did. It seemed like almost every cast he'd hook up. They weren't nothing to come home and brag about but still a sold bite.

I need to go fishing the James again haven't been since I went in June to overnight it.... Been way too busy with work and getting hay made and food plots planted and trail cameras up..

It was a nice float but was crowded. I'm thinking next time, start at Y and float to Blunks.

Yeah it has been one of my favorite stretches for years and years. But them James River Outfitters started doing an outstanding job and now it's pretty busy during the summer. Can't blame them though, they do a great job.

I like Y to Blunks too. Usually less traffic but you might be paddling lake water towards the end. Still worth it though.

One of the reasons I love to float from Delaware to shelvin is that I hardly see any other boats. Especially when I go in the middle of the week. Thanks for the reports guys. I've never floated below H.L. Kerr before. Gonna try to make that happen before it gets cold again.
