That was a lot of work, but I'm sure it was rewarding. Good job, like new

Nothing like the rewards at the end of a do-it-yourself project.

Marine grade carpet right?  With the plastic or rubber type backer?

NOTE TO OTHERS: Never EVER use carpet that does not have the backer and do not use anything other than quality carpet adhesive made specific for boat carpet installation.  Let's just say I learned the hard way 2yrs ago and leave it at that.

Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message.

He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!

i used 20oz marine carpet from bass boat seats.com. I kinda reversed engineered the whole thing. About half way through the project I thought I made a mistake by taking it on lol. I was going to fix it up,and sell it but now I have a blast fishing out of it. I will probably add a 90 hp 4 stroke this winter.

When end ever I was unsure about something I went to Rogers boat restoration  and asked them  guys were a big help
