Surprised someone hasn't mentioned the rain...

We've had may be 2-3 inches today if not more. More tonight and tomorrow. Table Rock has come up from 914.8 to 915.3 so far. I've kept an eye on the radar- looks like a lot of rain in the Long and Kings watershed.

This should keep the water running for another month (sorry fly guys).

Yes... that's one of many benefits (possible benefits) to generation/rain.

The White is getting a good run of shad now. Not sure about the Norfork.

Its not the rain its the temp!!! Wife decided 22F was just to cold for a mid-week fishing trip. We have had about 6 inches of rain here, I live back in a draw and pretty good hollar to many and it has about 4 ft of water running in the bottom.

Even worse the zipper on my flannal lined blue jean broke!! for those who have not tried them you should makes winter fishing much better.

The 11pt is blown out, but the Current is in great shape. If you can make it over there today, it would be an ideal time to fish streamers and crankbaits. Cheers.

The rain has stopped in Springfield, but the temp is going down and it's starting to freeze. They are salting the parking lot here and I don't look forward to the drive home. And it's not suppose to get any warmer anytime soon...

Hey John... Get some safety pins and put on some gym shorts over those jeans. Nobody will notice under those waders.... That is, unless the zipper breaking is like me - due to an excess of sweets and other great food from the week before Halloween and continuing for a couple of weeks after Valentine's Day....
