Lifes2Short Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Put in at Mutton and ran up past twin bridges. Found a wind blown cove and the white bass were loaded in the cove. Spent about an hour in the cove and caught 50+!!! Released all of them and continued to try and find the black's. Ended up with 10 or 12 blacks with 3 that would have kept. Great morning for whites, slow day for black's. Tight Lines! dan hufferd 1
Hammer time Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Sounds like fun, those whites will stretch your line. Did you catch them on top or under? Congratulations on finding them, for most it has been a struggle catching any.
Lifes2Short Posted October 25, 2015 Author Posted October 25, 2015 Caught 90% of them on topwater after finding them on a small crankbait. However I went back up to the same cove today and blanked on the whites.......go figure.
Steve McBasser Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 That's how it is when you chase schooling fish. Its feast or famine. Its always fun while it last though....
