fishinwrench Posted June 28, 2017 Posted June 28, 2017 Yep, and I haven't heard a single word in favor of this plea deal. Everyone who has spoken up about it so far is flaming pissed. A month AFTER the Ellingson drowning a guy allowed one of his friends to sit on the gunnels of a runabout, the friend fell out and drowned....and the guy (I'm pretty sure) has already been sentanced, milked of all his assets, and sent to prison. No mention of him or the friend being intoxicated....just careless operation of an occupied vessel. Old plug 1
Old plug Posted June 28, 2017 Posted June 28, 2017 Anyone who lives here and had any sort of dealing with Piercy knows the kind of attitude he demonstrated. I have no doubt he blew his top at the kid and just was not thinking. He seened to think he was superior to the rest of us. It is not like I am way off looking back. I am like Wrench i live right here in the neoghborhood.
ramman123 Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 I dont agree wit the Hwy Patrol and Water Patrol merging but since they did i would expect the New water Patrol Guys to fully understand and be Knowledgeable about the waters/ and regulations they are enforcing/Patroling I have never had an issue with or been checked by Water Patrol doesnt mean i havent seen them Patroling though, ive seen Conservation in fuller force and been checked by them More Frequently by boat as well as on land
fishinwrench Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 I think my biggest concern with this extremely cush plea deal is the message it sends to other officers. After "Mo. vs. Piercy" any officer in this state can pretty much do whatever he/she wants, lie about it afterwards, and not be the slightest bit concerned about any serious repercussions even if the lies are clearly exposed and witnesses number in the teens. Just wait and see....there will be no legitimate prosecuting of LEO's in Missouri from here on out, no matter what dasturdly crap one of them might pull. Brian Jones 1
