My 56-year old shoulder is a bit painful and I would rather not risk getting it in shape to pull back my bow, anymore. But I did look at crossbows on Cabelas site and one could easily spend a thousand dollars on a crossbow.

And she is getting more venison for Christmas (she doesn't know that either). Do any of you who currently hunt with a doctor's exemption have any advice on a purchase? dan hufferd 1
BilletHead Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 David, I shot two deer last season and two this season with a Titan Extreme by Ten Point. Bought at Bass Pro. Not top of the line by any means and if you go to the best of any brand prepare to spend some bucks. It is more than adequate but a bit on the heavy side to hold while shooting. They make them lighter but again they will cost more. I recommend you to go and shoot one. It came with a scope.
