Members Mbrown2858 Posted November 15, 2015 Members Posted November 15, 2015 The fiance and I were down last weekend and stayed at Lilleys place. I knew fishing was going to be tough considering the oxygen levels and what everyone was reporting about, but we had the trip already planned so figured we would still come down. Definitely was a tough time. When we arrived Friday they had just shut the water off so i figured i would wet a line! Only managed to catch a few on a Green Crackleback. Remained tough while we were down and seemed to pick up a little better on Monday. Caught a few here and there on some San Juan Worms and Scuds. Caught quite a few right below the cable on some Copperhead Midges in the afternoon/evening before they blew the horn 3 or 4 times!. All in all still had fun on the water. Anyways better luck next time! BilletHead and laker67 2
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted November 15, 2015 Root Admin Posted November 15, 2015 Thanks for posting. How was the size and health of the fish you caught? Did they fight good or sluggish?
Members Mbrown2858 Posted November 16, 2015 Author Members Posted November 16, 2015 They were sluggish. Seemed to better fishing right after they shut the offer off. Caught a few maybe in the 16-18" range? Otherwise smaller ones, but all were the pretty ones, not the silver bullets. I'm not sure didn't measure them got them in quick and back on there way, so I didn't get any pictures either. Fiancé even noticed they were fighting and seemed as they were just swimming around gasping for air. They weren't active for much except for one guy that insisted he was killing them, come to find out because he was snagging them.
