Champ188 Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 You didn't throw a spinnerbait? How does one go fishing and not throw a spinnerbait? Crikey!!!! Blll 1
Guest Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 I know, but I'm a crankbait guy. There's a reason that I paint my own. However, Im kicking myself for not throwing the cole slaw around the mixing area. What spinnerbait & blade selection do you like in this scenario?
Champ188 Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Cole slaw would have been good. War Eagle also makes a copper-framed bait with copper blades (Indiana main and little Colorado kicker) with a white skirt that works well in dingy/muddy water. There's also a color called Sundance that I like to throw in very dingy water with gold double willows.

I don't throw spinnerbaits much unless the water is very murky, and I know that's a big mistake. My 2016 resolution will be to throw them more. It's easy to get in a rut of the same old baits. Guest Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 They're pulling water pretty hard right now, it would be a good day to go back out.
Stump bumper Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Wind is blowing hard, leave the top water at home. Steady at 10-15 with 24mph gust, not a day for me. Blll 1
