Members Bradsnation Posted November 23, 2015 Members Posted November 23, 2015 Boat winch lock broke and handle popped me in the hand. Broke a few bones. Had a cast put on but that didn't last long lol. I didn't know I was closterphobic. It's driving me crazy not being able to fish.
fishinwrench Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Ouch ! I've had those handles smack me before, it hurts. I've also had a trolling motor prop almost take a couple fingers off while climbing over the bow. I never forget to kill the power to the TM anymore.
J-Doc Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 That's too bad because the fishing can be pretty good right now. Weird year and it's harder to pattern but some days the fish just seem to be biting good. More important issue is taking care of your hand. Get it healed and healed well and it won't bother you later. Rush it and it will ache every time the weather changes they say. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!

With all the different ramp angles, it makes cranking that thing a big part of the equation. Just when you think you've got the perfect ramp angle to load/unload, the trailer wheels fall off the end of the concrete! "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
