m&m Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 My son and I got on the water around 11am. We trolled the 2 coves towards the bluff. After about 90 minutes without a bite, we decided to head towards Flat Creek. But the big motor's battery wouldn't cooperate. So while I went on a trip to buy a battery, my son caught the 4.2 seen in the picture below on the gravel in about 4fow on a WW. We changed batteries and fished crankbaits till about 4pm. just went a few coves either side of the 76 bridge. Never did make it up to Flat Creek. We caught a total of 16. Most were LM, one SM and 2 spots. 3 were nice keepers. Pictures of the 2 largest are attached. Yes you will notice that I fished out of the back of the boat and my son caught the keepers. WT was 57. All of our fish came from less than 10fow. Water color was good with about 2' visibility. Tried a jig, WP, SB and swimbait. All fish came on either a WW, RC or DT 10. It was a good day spending time with my son. Mike magicwormman, Champ188, Quillback and 1 other 4
