went back to a buddy of mine today as I left my boat down Wednesday, that day I found a pretty good jerk bait bite later in the day and went back to get my boat, put in about 11:00 and right away caught a nice keeper, then commenced to catch more big whites, within 45 minutes the light switched off & that was it until later, ended up with 5 keepers altogether 2 blacks and 3 whites with about 5 small blacks in between. Had a great time & in my opinion there isn't any better way to fish than with a jerkbait, water temp dropped to about 52-54, sure wish I could have stayed Thursday, I believe that would have been the day, Happy Holidays and good luck fishing.

I just read your report from Friday, looks like you did good yourself, very good!! I thought about throwing spinner or buzz bait today but I wanted to stay with the jerkbait, seems when you start throwing to much stuff in stead of staying with a targeted plan things don't pan out as well, when ever I throw the jerkbait I look for one bite, hopefully a big one, everything else is just a bonus, and yes that color seems to produce in that stained water, just wish I could keep the whites away from it, It's nice to know I'm not the only nut out there fishing, I seen two boats today. 96champ, you were definitely not the only one out there, 84 Boat AiA tourney out of PB2, 18+ won it. Sounded like the bite was tough for most anglers today. I was going to go this morning but went shopping with wife then rain started up and said no thanks
