Guest Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Sweet! Its good to know the waters 55 degrees, where is the mudline located? thanks
Dan the fisherman Posted December 2, 2015 Author Posted December 2, 2015 It was kinda hard to tell. It was more gradual . Definitely muddy above water intake! But was discolored below. More clear by MN.

Biggest hybrid I've ever caught. It was a real hoot landing it on a 6ft Falcon Original and a baitcaster. Had to chase it down with the trolling motor and ease the drag tension on 10lb mono. Took about 10-12mins to land. jerry241, Blll, Lance34 and 1 other 4 Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! Blll Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Great looking hybrids! Still a virgin on hybrids. Did manage several stripers( 2-10' 2-15' 1-20) on brooders yesterday from HB To the intake. 3- 19"little guys too. Really slow speed (under 1 mph) into the wind. All on free lines w/split shot over 45-70- FOW. Water temp still 54-55. Lots of boats in MN. jerry241 and Dan the fisherman 2
Dan the fisherman Posted December 3, 2015 Author Posted December 3, 2015 I'm just going jump this post and give report of today on here. I had a late start. I didn't get on the water till 3. Which was ok, but getting bait today took a lot longer than usual. I spent a whole hour instead of the usual 10-15 mins. N e ways by the time I got to the spot it was 4-415 or so. I set my lines and trolled for 20-30 mins and got this 16 pounder. Got him with a big bait too. I only got got to fish 45 mins before I headed back in the dark. But one nice fish made it worth it. shark bait, Blll and Lance34 3
