Im going to try a similar pattern up the war eagle at beaver tomorrow.

What color was the water, if you dont mind telling?

The water was pretty clear. You could see the jig 5 feet down or so. Slight green tint.

That tells me, that my muddy crankbait water is holding bass but I need to find the clear/stain water ahead of the mudline for crappie. Thanks Hughesy!

That's funny because most of the crappy I catch are black crappie on Table Rock

90% of mine are blacks

90% of mine are imaginary and the other 10% get off before I can get em in the boat.

Won't keep me from trying again on Friday . I'll take any tips anyone doesn't care to share. Thinking about putting in at viola again, but could go cape fair.
