In a normal year, when do you start to see the Walleye, Hybrids, etc start showing up below Bagnell?  How about farther down around the Mari Osa launch (half the drive for me)?  In looking at old threads, seems like mid Feb is the norm most years.  One of my New Year's resolutions, learn the stretch of river around Mari Osa this spring.  Mainly a LM Bass fisherman, but would like to try the Walleye or Hybrid's early.....

Thank you!

The extent of my Walleye experience is almost all on Lake Erie, probably only caught a dozen total on rivers and all were caught trolling crankbaits for Pike, Smallmouth or whatever I could find that day. Been a looong time, there will be a learning curve this year :).

I have caught far fewer Hybrids and all were up below Bagnell. Had friends that poured & painted their own spoons they lost so many. That was a LOT of fun, but again, going to be a learning curve. Dr Bucketmouth makes it look so easy, but I am sure he has spent a lot of time and effort figuring all that out.......

If anyone wants to share reports down out of Mari Osa, I will try to get mine up when I start getting out.

  Thank you!

There is always walleye and hybrids on the Osage.  Just flow and temps and lure selection issues.  I'm going this week

Did you happen to get out last week before the snow hit?

I am geting cabin fever and this is only our first snow and cold of the year......

After nice the warm days coming on Thur & Friday, I may try to get out Saturday for the first time.  I am sure I won't be the only one, if anyone gets out before me please leave a report.  Not even sure what to target at this time of year, but you really can't pass up that nice of weather!
